GO Fund

This is our ‘Greatest Needs’ category, and the rocket fuel of the ministry. Donations here fill critical life gaps for the children, and, most importantly, drive economic and agricultural development. 100% of our GO Fund is used for:

- Now Needs

Orphan care is unpredictable, full of ‘now needs.’ There is no guaranty that a mattress will last forever, or a well. They won’t. Kids soil mattresses. Wells sometimes go dry. And they require replacing. Food prices do spike. Village or home sponsors sometimes cannot meet a pledged commitment, but the kids’ needs aren’t on pledge. The ‘now needs’ of the children must be met as they arise. One function of our GO Fund is to meet now needs.

- Agricultural Development

Local agricultural development is critical to move orphan care costs towards sustainability. Food is usually the most expensive line item cost of orphan care. With our GO Fund, we invest in agricultural development projects for food production either for consumption or sale. The fruits of these ventures pour back into the children.

- Economic Development

We invest in businesses in our target countries, the profits of which help move local orphan care costs towards sustainability. These businesses are central to our model. They create jobs; create economy; and pay for children. We have found that capitalizing such businesses does more than create an income stream for orphan care; it often keeps the families of the employed together. Job creation is key to orphan prevention.

If you want to help with unmet needs of so many of our children, this is the place to plug in.

If you want to help invest in agricultural and business ventures, the fruits of which go to make local orphan care sustainable, this is the place to plug in.

One time gifts. Monthly gifts. Any amount. Grow our reach and impact.
